Location and area:

• The project is located near. Sukhindol, Veliko Tarnovo region, Bulgaria
• Covers approximately 900 hectares of land
• The land is rocky with low category and is uncultivable, being rented with a long-term lease.
• It is located between the Mizian Platform and the Pre-Balkan – the terrain is low hilly, with a limestone base

Capacity and technology:

• Maximum capacity: 620 MWp DC / 500 MW AC
• Integrated energy storage system: up to 250 MW / 1 000 MWh BESS

Technical infrastructure:

• One boosting station
• 2 transformers 375MW each (110kV/400kV)
• Overhead line 3×2 (110kV)

Development:

• The project is part of Green Source’s broader portfolio, including 30 projects with a total investment volume of more than EUR 820 million in Central and Eastern Europe.

• Several hundred jobs will be created during construction, and more than 50 new jobs will be created once it is operational – both directly and through local suppliers and partners.
